I have been offering massage as a Certified Massage Therapist since 2003 and currently have 600+ hours of training. Some of the certifications that I hold are: Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports, Trigger Point, Neuro Muscular Therapy, Thai and working with Elders, Pregnant Women, Infants and Individuals with Disabilities, Terminal Illness and Chronic Illness.

Which means that I have the skills to offer a massage that is catered to your specific needs. Each massage that I offer is different. Each person merits different techniques and each visit may bring up special needs. I limit the number of massages that I take per day, so no matter when you schedule with me, I will be fresh and the quality of your massage will be the highest.

What to expect:
When you call to schedule an appointment, I will ask you a few questions to get a sense of whether I am the right massage therapist for you. I will want to learn more about your likes and dislikes and find out what kind of session will suit you best. Once we have agreed upon this, we will choose a date that works for both of us.
When you first arrive, I will offer you water and tea. I will have you fill out a brief client intake form and will do a postural assessment. We will talk briefly about the massage and come to an agreement on what the focus of our session will be.

When this introduction is complete, I will show you into my warm, cave-like massage room. If it is an oil-based session, I will ask you to undress to your level of comfort. You will always be draped with a sheet (and optionally, a blanket). I have a table warming pad as well as a space heater to keep you cozy.
I have bolsters and pillows to make sure that you are perfectly comfortable. I may ask for feedback throughout the session on your comfort, the pressure that I am using or the room temperature.
Following your massage, I like to do a brief check-in to see how the session went for you. If it is appropriate, I may demonstrate some stretches or exercises that could benefit you and I may send you with some printed information that can help you treat yourself.
